Excellent Sound Quality Great Value |
I have a really wide range of music and this headset plays everything brilliantly. On the UK motorways the noise cancellation works a treat, it also works, albeit to a lesser effect when the wife is watching TV, providing it is something without music such as a soap or drama the headset works.

Excellent Sound Quality Great Value Durable Good Range of Accessories Looks Amazing |
I found the sound quality to be very good. The bass is excellent.
Noise cancelling works well. I have used noised cancelling at
the bus, train and in the market.
However as the jack is built for iphones, I had to use the jack adaptor to connect to my nokia smartphone to receive calls.
Make sure you use the right sized earphone bud.
Overall a good product. Great value for what you pay.

Now Ive tried them out with plus and minuses.
Plus:
Active noise cancellation do work and it works good if you manage to get the silicon plugs to seal against your earcanal, if they do not fit ANC will not work.
The sound is ok though not as good as my Klipsch S2i, more treble than the Klipsch which adds clarity but still not as good in the long run.
Battery time approx 10h+ seems to be correct and rechargetime as well and thats good.
Minus:
Nearly impossible to get a good fit in my ears.
The only way to get a really tight fit that isolates the earcanal for me is to change left and right side and turn the plugs upside down. (No, that was not a joke... and it took a lot of work to figure out...)
Summary:
Im not happy with the comfort and fit. Thinking of testing Comply tips to see if that solves the problem - if so I will be happy with the plugs since ANC is really good.
Sound is ok on the move but of course not as good as homeequipment (uses Denon AHD2000 at home with valveamps).
Noise cancellation is really good - if you manage to seal the plugs in the earcanal. Makes travel in noisy environments such as airplanes, busses etc much nicer!

I live in the USA and got given these by one of my cousins who works in Wolfson.
I am enjoying the headphones. I can see a distinct audio quality improvement in flights, when I used them on my recent flight to Chicago. I am guessing that the noise cancellation technique is responding to a constant noise & is doing a good job of cancelling the noise. When I go in car, it is slightly different; by law I cannot use both earpieces & that probably neutralized some of the cancellation technique & the road noise is also not unique.
The one product improvement that would be worthwhile is that when the battery runs out of charge, then for the headset to switch into the non-battery mode automatically. When the battery dies, it takes some time to figure this out & do the physical switch to the other mode.

Uncomfortable to Wear |
I had these earbuds given me to test by one of the Wolfson employees, and I really didn't know what to expect.
SOUND QUALITY:
I have tried full size earphones with noise cancelling, but never earbuds. So when I first started to wear them I really didn't know what to expect, but I must say that I was quite impressed. Not so much by the noise cancelling feature as to the overall sound quality. -The lows and bass were quite noticebly warm and powerful and the highs were very clear and crisp.
NOISE CANCELLING:
As for the noise cancelling feature, I did try and test it in different situations, such as in a moving car, or in a noise environment like a factory (where I work) - and I must say that I wasn't 100% convinced. It might have been because I was so impressed with the general sound quality of the DS321D that I couldn't really pay attention to the noise cancelling. But that's ok - I'm sure there will be more reviews of this feature on these earbuds.
COMFORT:
Not impressed at all. I found the earbuds to be bulky and awkward, but we all know that our ear chanels differ from person to person, so it might be that someone else will say "Love it"!
DESIGN:
At first glance the DS321D are quite striking. They have the look and feel of higher class and more expensive earbuds. After furhter handling them they don't let you down. They feel quite solid and of good build, thus I think the great sound quality.
OVERALL:
I would be put off by the comfort but very tempted by the sound quality. I would probably not use the noise cancelling 99% of the time.
So Wolfson, get working on the comfort!

Too Expensive |
Wish to correct my above comment on listening music inside the London underground.. realized, I was blocking the tiny noise-sensing mics with my cap, hence the weird effect.
otherwise, music is totally stereophonic with true bass in some tracks, very rare even on some of the other high-end headphones!

Excellent Sound Quality |
I liked the idea of active sound cancellation and had tried many on ear headphones with this feature, but had never tried in ear headphones like these. When they arrived I was eager to see how they compared, and was pleasantly surprised, although the effect is not quite as dramatic (as some of the unwanted sound is naturally blocked out anyway). The sound quality is very good, with very deep base and clear treble that is noticeably good, even when the headphones are off, and they are comfortable and easy to wear as well as being surprisingly light. As for style, it is a matter of opinion; it looks just like the picture. A fantastic pair of headphones that I would recomend, but I think maybe around £60 is more reasonable?
