Absolutely brilliant quality, great fit. They feel a bit weir at first but you get used to them. A bit of quality engineering by Shure!

Well worth the money. I've these had for 6m months now, and they look like new. Don't forget to feed them from the back of your ears, over, then in. Took me a week to figure this out, and if you dont wear them like this the dont stay in. Very durable bit of kit. I can't imagine them wearing out.

The Shure E2c Earphones are quite simply superb. Working in a noisy machine room environment, these earpieces give fantastic noise reduction allowing a great s/n ratio. I have found these units have a great dynamic range at all frequencies regardless of media (music and/or voice). Definately worth playing around with the fittings supplied to achieve a snug (and airtight) fit. Very good value for money. Excellent reproduction with crisp, clear sound and enhanced attenuation of external noise.

I bought these to replace my ageing Sony EX71's which had served me well but finally died. The difference was amazing, much easier to get a good fit and decidedly better sound. Because of the better fit there is more outside noise reduction which means you can play at a lower volume, which in turn means better battery life and more importantly, better protection for your one and only set of ears. Take your time to get the right fittings to mach your ears and you will love these. Also take care when using the supplied case, it is easy to wrap them in too tightly which could cause premature cable damage. A fantastic replacement for you mp3 earbuds at a sensible price.

Having used, loved and broken a pair of Sony Fontopia MDR-EX71SLB headphones, i decided it was time for a little bit of an upgrade. As music is an important part of my life, i see quality as a prime factor when picking a set of headphones. If a high price is the cost for decent audio, then so be it. Thankfully the Shure E2C's are neither vastly expensive (for the amount of use you'll get out of them) and have exceptional audio quality.

The price is right, they look and feel great, and best of all the sound is amazing. I have recommended these to so many friends

These really should be better known. They are the ear phones that should be standard for all quality mp3 players. The improvement gained over the standard phones supplied with even the best quality players is truly amazing. Clean clear undistorted sound is presented in the well isolated environment provided by the in-ear design. The comprehensive fitting kit supplied with the phones ensures a comfortable wearing experience for everyone. One more point the ear bud sleeves are easily available should you lose them or when they wear out.

I bought these Earphones as a last attempt to get some quality sound from my Ipod, having tried the phones that came with the Ipod (YUK) and then buying a pair of Sennheiser CX 300.The latter proved to be good but I still felt that there should have been more. So, not wanting to pay a fortune for earphones, I took the plunge and bought the SHURE E2 - C. Wow... the difference was incredible. After you get over how to fit them and with what combination of plug, they proved to be:- A) Very comfortable B) Reproduced fantastic quality in all of the ranges......and C) Because you no longer need to play your pod at full volume to get any quality, the battery life lasts so much longer. I cant recommend these phones highly enough for the money.

A really good set of headphones with a warm sound! For the price stated this is a very good deal. My Shure e2c headphones are always in use and practically butchered and they're built for the job. With the fitting kit provided the headphones will fit all ear types and perfect for in ear monitoring at gigs and sound isolation. Shure never let you down with quality

These earphones are fantastic. They are really comfortable to wear, sound great and are at a brilliant price. I have had them for almost a year now and use them daily. There is nothing bad I can say about them. If you are wanting budget earphones these are the ones for you!! GET THEM!!!

I have used shure microhones for many years and I wanted to buy a branded product to place in my ears (like eyes you only get one set in this life) I just plugged these into my iPod and they are unbelievable. The sound is rich and full of depth, all that you would expect from an enormous set of full size headphones. I tried out all sorts of music on my player from classic to hardcore and it handles it all and more! Hear the real music on your iPod and buy this product, the dynamic range is so wide you can hear the finest of detail that just can’t hear with the iPod earphones. Just one comment people...Read the instructions first please as these are very powerful and you need to fit the anti-wax "stickers" before you can start trying the different inserts that come with these fantastic earphones, and the different inserts do make all the difference (strange but true, the better the fit the richer the bass) I could go on & on about these but I wont. They stay in your ears and are very comfortable indeed (unlike the iPod dinner plates that come with their players) Because of the noise cancellation from the outside world it really dose put you in a little musical land of you own. Great product, big thumbs up to the shure guys.

I have one ear hole- or in manufacturer's speak, one auditory canal, larger than the other. The personal fit kit works! I have tried others and couldn't get away with them, the choice of sizes is brill!

I only chose these earbud thingys after reading the other reviews on this site. Previously I'd tried a set of Philips wrap around the ear, recommended for ipod, buds. They went back in exchange for a pair of Sennheiser MXL 70. These are very good, though not a very good fit in the ear. The Shure E2c arrived a whole day after placing the order. First impression was not good, a bit fiddly and uncertain how to wear them. After a few minutes of changing the rubber inner ear things, (found the small black ones the best fit), plugged in the ipod and have been absolutely blown away by the quality. I would strongly recommend these earbuds, the manufacturers are bang on with their description.

I dont normally get on with in ear headphones and after reading reviews about how comfortable sony's EX71 were I got a pair, oh dear! I could'nt wear them for long as they really hurt, the sound was ok tho. So I was I bit weary of trying another pair of in ear headphones but decided to give Shure's E2c a go. WOW striaght away they fitted fine, i used the smallest foam sleeves and they went in without a fuss and after an hour were still comfortable! and the sound :0, i did read people complain about the lack of bass?? i get a lovely bass sound, the sound quality too is stunning miles better then the EX71's!. I really cant rate these highly enough the sound isolation, fit and sound quality are fantastic and at this price a steal, get a pair!

Bought these a year ago worth spending a bit extra everyone i know bought the sennheisers and now wish they didnt!!!

These things made my mp3 experience go from normal to stunning. When I forgot my SHURE headphones on one trip I simply couldnt listen to my mp3 player because I was used to the outstanding quality of the SHUREs.Worth their weight in gold for anyone who loves their music collection.
