Great sound from the earphones themselves - but the connection between the wire and the jack is rubbish - I've had two pairs of these, and they've both started cutting out after about three months of daily use. The second pair had a slightly different connection, which indicates they're trying to find a way to make them less flimsy... but they've not cracked it yet. Great sound fidelity for the £50 bracket... but I don't want to have to spend that on headphones every three months!

These come well supplied with a black leather snap pouch, a v-moda cord winder, and six pairs of silicon ear pieces (3 black, 3 clear). The clear wires look cool, and match the chrome finish well. "L" and "R" are engraved onto each ear phone. After a run-in period, these earphones do produce a rich, balanced sound. The bass is powerful without being muddy. You do need to try all three sizes to get the right fit for the best acoustics. When you do, the 'phones are light are very comfortable. You can wear them for hours without any ache. Although they are in-canal earphones, they do have an "open" feel, which aslo means that your neighbour can faintly pick up sounds as well. It also means you are not totally isolated from the outside world, which is probably safer for a commuter. The only slight niggle is that the connection between the wire and the earphone feels a little delicate. You need to make sure that you pull on the earphone and not the wire to remove it!
