Not only the patented S-Logic™ Plus technology is standard, also the Ultra Low Emission (ULE-technology) belongs to this model. Safer hearing aspects have become very important for DJs. With its heavy duty Mylar driver the DJ1 provides powerful sound. The DJ1 is made for compact storage (transportation bag included) and one-ear-listening due to the folding-mechanism.
ULE-technology & DJ1 PRO design
DJ1 PRO headphones stand for Ultra Low Emission (ULE-technology) with significant benefits for professional users and DJ1 PRO headphones show a specific design. The Ultrasone DJ1 PRO appearance does not only distinguish the professional line but also allows due to more ear anatomy area a higher degree of transparency in combination with the spatial sense and understanding.
To understand what ULE-technology does, you need to know that most headphone drivers produce low-frequency magnetic fields as they convert an electric signal into an acoustical signal you hear as music. In response, Ultrasone developed a special MU Metal shielding (ULE-technology) to reduce the radiation by up to 98% compared to current headphones. The ULE-technology has stood the test of international review and is recommended by technical surveillance organisations. Ultrasone originally developed the ULE-technology for professionals as they do spend half of their lives in headphones. Safer hearing
S-Logic™ does not only create a Natural Surround Sound. S-Logic™ allows at the same time a reduction of sound pressure levels by up to 40% (3-4 dB) for the same loudness sensation. This may reduce the risk of hearing damage while ensuring hours of fatigue-free listening. However, Ultrasone generally advises not to listen to music at high volumes to prevent hearing damage.

I have just ordered a pair of the Pro canz...Currently been using the the indstrut bench mark HD25 since 2003 and findt hen proper rock solid only replaced the ear pads and they are still going very strong however finding them a little harsh on my ears and I like the idea of clarity at lower db levels.

Value for Money Sound Quality Comfort Build Quality Style Okay, I want to add another review about this cans after a burn in this cans.. After over than 100 hours of burn in, this cans really show magnificent improvements. The staging is very wide, its like you can hear some of the instruments plays on your back, sometimes on your far left. Its because the S-Logic technology that let you hear the sound in 3D mode.. If you play a game using this cans, try to rotate the camera while you are fighting with some enemies.. You will hear an amazing sound going around your head, not in your head.. Amazing, isn't it? Lastly, the only cons that i concern about is the quality of the earpads. Their pleather quality is not really good, so that its break quickly.. I overcome this problem by modifying it using a genuine leather. Beside its more durable, it give me more noise-proof and more amazing detail.

These are one of the most prestigious top of the range headphones available in the market in the Ultrasone pro series(the DJ1 PRO) with the new s-logic surround system techology(this is a home cinema system but in your ears!!,not only a home cinema system in your ears,but at the same time you are preventing hearing damage to your ears.Also another of the best features of these headphones is the 50mm mylar drivers for a rich unlimited profesional super high bass response and high crisp sound quality(extremely useful for the clubbing environment),excellent quality and good investment guaranteed(this one has also got the muffer board which offers 98% less radiation in your brain)compared to the other conventional headphones available in the market which do not offer this great feature to save those ears.
